- Photographs of the overall view and each significant area of damage.
- Documents concerning water damage, a leak, an incident, a fire or acceptance.
- The formal claim and correspondence relevant to the dispute, to the extent necessary.
For calculations and reviews
- Documents on dimensions, quantities, scope and cost of work and materials.
- The complete report to be reviewed, with appendices, calculations and source documents.
- The court order and questions posed — for a court appointment.
- Information about measurements taken, methods and inspection conditions.
- Information about changes to the property, repairs and dismantling after the event.
Access and safety
Arrange access to the necessary areas. Do not undertake dangerous opening-up or dismantling work for an initial enquiry. Do not delay necessary safety measures to preserve evidence; explain what actions have already been taken. Special tests, work at height and operations involving building services are organised with regard to the specific conditions and applicable requirements.
Files and data
General forms accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, HEIC and ZIP; the court request form also accepts WEBP. Up to 10 files of 10 MB each, with a maximum total of 15 MB. Actual delivery depends on PHP and the mail transport. Large materials are sent through an agreed channel. Redact unnecessary information about other people if it is not needed for the task.
Discuss an examination
Describe the property and the task. The initial telephone consultation is free for up to 15 minutes.
